Sustainable Development Goals or SDGs have become a joint commitment of countries that are members of the UN and are expected to be part of each country's development agenda at least until 2030. Efforts to achieve SDGs are expected to overcome global development challenges which include poverty, inequality, climate change , environmental protection, peace and human welfare.
The Indonesian government has aligned all its programs with efforts to achieve the SDGs, to realize Indonesia's commitment. Absolutely, the realization of the SDGs commitment is not only the task of the government but the entire Indonesian society. The involvement of the entire community is not only a reflection of Indonesia's more comprehensive commitment to the SDGs, but also increases the possibility of achieving the SDGs, as we all hope.
The School of Environmental Sciences certainly has a commitment to play an active role in helping Indonesia realize the SDGs. The effort attempted to be realized through various kinds of Tridharma activities both at the national and international levels. The activities carried out often likewise engage external parties to increase the expected impact.
On this site, we provide information about the various activities we have carried out to support the achievement of the 17 SDGs. Hopefully, we can inspire many parties to actively participate together in realizing the SDGs. We also strive and encourage the collaboration with various parties, which can bring us closer to a more sustainable, just and prosperous future.
