Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

The Sustainable Development Goals are a 2030 agenda that was agreed upon by all Member States of the United Nations (UN) in 2015. The agenda provides a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the environment, now and in the future. The 17 SDGs are an urgent call to action by all developed and developing countries in a global partnership. It recognizes that ending poverty and other deprivations must go hand in hand with strategies to improve health and education, reduce inequality, and spur economic growth, along with efforts to tackle climate change and work to preserve oceans and the environment.
