Thesis Advisors
Thesis Advisors are permanent lecturers at Study Programs within the University of Indonesia or experts from outside the University of Indonesia who have expertise relevant to the topic under study.
The academic qualifications of the Advisors must have at least a doctoral degree.
Advisors are a maximum of 2 (two) people
The appointment of the Advisor is determined by the Head of the Study Program.
Students are obliged to consult at least 5 (five) times to a person
Mentors who are recorded in the guidance book.
Thesis Advisor Duties
Thesis Advisors are permanent lecturers at Study Programs within the University of Indonesia or experts from outside the University of Indonesia who have expertise relevant to the topic under study.
To guide, assist and advise students in preparing their thesis.
Provide guidance to students in the context of literature review and utilization of secondary data.
Monitor and guide students in carrying out field research and primary data collection.
If deemed necessary, the advisor can propose that the student request consulting services to certain experts / sources to support research for his thesis.
Advisor provides consultation to his/her students at least 5 meetings during the thesis completion period.
Encourage and assist students to finish on time.
Determination of Specializations
The determination of specialization for S2 students is carried out since the beginning of education (first semester) but does not rule out the possibility of changes at the beginning of the second semester according to student interests. Specialization will be held if the minimum number of students is met, namely 5 people.
